Hello GEO Members,

Our new bargaining committee has begun preparations for the new round of contract bargaining before our current contract expires in August 2023. GEO needs to hear from its members on what issues should be front and center in our bargaining with the administration. The best way to do this is to fill out the Issues Survey. Filling out this survey is the most efficient way to participate in GEO by giving feedback on your experience as a graduate student and/or GEO member

So far 192 graduate students have completed the Issues Survey. Can you help us get to our goal of 500 before March 1st? This survey will take approximately 10-15 minutes to complete and the anonymous, aggregated results will be shared among GEO membership.

GEO will use the results of this survey to determine how issues impact graduate student quality of life at UMass and how GEO can address these issues in future bargaining and organizing. This survey is anonymous and you may choose to answer as many questions or as few as you want. None of the information any individual provides will be shared with university or department administration.

The survey will remain open for the month of February, so please fill it out and share it widely among the graduate students in your department and campus wide.
