Fellow workers,

The polls have closed for our vote on whether or not to ratify the 2024-2027 GEO contract. During the last week, 1,048 GEO members cast their votes: a total of 63% of the 1,662 voters eligible to cast ballots in this election. This is better turnout than any GEO election or ratification vote in the last decade.

The results of the ratification vote are as follows:

YES, I vote to approve the new contract – 934 votes (89%)
NO, I vote to reject the new contract – 114 votes (11%)

The GEO contract has officially been ratified.
