Hi all,
Our next bargaining session is THIS Monday, 8/28 from 1-4pm at Campus Center Room 903. We are bargaining for a number of crucial issues including higher wages, a housing stipend, more protections against discrimination and sexual harassment, removal of graduate fees, and more. See the flyer below for a more comprehensive list. A bigger turnout than last time will put more pressure on management and show them our strength and that we’re taking this seriously! And, if you come, you get to be among the first to hear what ridiculous things that admin will undoubtedly say! Sign-up here to attend.
If you missed the last bargaining session, you can catch-up with this 4-minute video to hear bargainer Danielle explain what happened, what GEO proposed, and what to expect from the administration at this upcoming session. We will start prepping for the bargaining session in the GEO office (Campus Center 917) at noon, with a focus on the non-economic issues. All are welcome to join us there to prepare for the session!
‘Tis the season — as we move into back-to-school season, more than just excitement is spreading. You can’t bargain if you’re stuck in bed! Mask up, and we’ll see you soon!
In solidarity,
