It’s time to get out and VOTE for next year’s GEO officers! The election will formally conclude at our general membership meeting on Thursday, May 5, from 5-7pm in South College E241 (voting will be available outside the room from 4-5:30). The elections committee will also be tabling in the Campus Center Concourse to allow those who cannot make the meeting a chance to make their voices heard. They will be tabling at the following times:
Monday, 5/2 from 11am-2pm
Tuesday, 5/3 from 2-5pm
Wednesday, 5/4 from 2-5pm
Candidate statements will be available at the table. We’ll see you there!
A quick note: because fewer than 3 people ran for the position of co-chair, that position does not appear on the ballot for this year. Instead, in accordance with GEO’s bylaws, the candidates for co-chair were vetted and approved at a special meeting of the Assembly of Stewards, which took place last Wednesday. Your new co-chairs will be Cai Gabrielle Barias and Thomas Corcoran! They will introduce themselves at the membership meeting on Thursday along with all the other newly elected officers. But in the meantime–get out and vote!!
